Pharmacy Impact & Advocacy Fund

Fueling pharmacy-led innovation
in patient care

Across the United States, pharmacists are stepping up to fill critical gaps in care: testing, treating, prescribing, counseling, and delivering services once limited to other settings.

To help accelerate this transformation, MedMe is launching the Pharmacy Impact & Advocacy Fund to support US pharmacy associations and similar organizations advancing policies, pilots, and programs that expand the role of pharmacists in patient care.

The fund supports both advocacy and implementation, helping ensure new scope, reimbursement, and care model opportunities create real impact for communities.

About the Fund

What is the Pharmacy Impact & Advocacy Fund?

The Pharmacy Impact & Advocacy Fund was created to give good ideas an early push. This is a seed-level fund aimed at getting promising work off the ground, supporting associations that are ready to act but need a short burst of resources or expertise to do so. The program is intentionally lean and nimble, designed to help move strong concepts into pilots that can generate the evidence or momentum needed to attract broader backing and adoption from other stakeholders.

Funding and support may be used to:

Advance innovative models of pharmacist-led care that demonstrate value and sustainability in the broader healthcare system

Implement recent policy wins through education, change management, and scalable enablement tools

Advocate for state or federal legislation or regulation that expands or modernizes pharmacist practice (e.g., test-to-treat, independent prescribing, standards of care)

Why It Matters

Pharmacists are the most accessible healthcare professionals, and the US healthcare system increasingly depends on their expertise. But policy and practice don’t change themselves.

By combining funding, technology, and partnership, the Pharmacy Impact & Advocacy Fund helps associations lead the charge in turning opportunity into action — and ensure pharmacists can deliver care to their full potential.
