Today, MedMe announces that the company has undergone a System and Organisation Controls (SOC) Type 2 examination resulting in a CPA’s report stating that management of MedMe maintained effective controls over the security, availability and confidentiality of its digital platform. The engagement was performed by BARR Advisory, P.A and guided by Vanta.
As a trusted partner in pharmacies all across Canada, MedMe is committed to ensuring that privacy and confidentiality are maintained. In 2021, the platform helped pharmacies administer more than 544,302 flu shots, 2,219,143 COVID vaccine doses and more than 155,355 COVID tests. With such a large impact on the ever-changing pandemic situation, we understand how important it is to keep data safe. Security is guaranteed with a SOC 2 report, which is designed to meet the needs of existing or potential customers who need assurance about the effectiveness of controls used by the service organisation to process customers’ information.
